Competitive split: Settings
The Joker Series sponsor, 4dracewear.com, will be providing a pair of their "Reactions" indoor active gaming shoe, and a customized Hero Card to the winner of the competitive split of this race, a pair of gloves to 2nd place, and a pair of their "Prototype" shoes to 3rd place.
Below is a breakdown of how eligibility will work.
If there are 14 (or fewer) drivers registered, no qualifying splits will be run and all registered drivers will be in the competitive split and are eligible for the prize.
If more than 14 drivers register, then members of the SalamanderMN channel will receive priority. If there are fewer than 14 members registered on race day, then all members are guaranteed a spot in the competitive split, and a single qualifying race will be held to fill the grid.
If there are more than 14 members of the SalamanderMN channel registered, then 1 (or more) qualifiers will be held to determine who will race in the competitive split.
Joker level members will receive 1st priority and are guaranteed a spot. If more than 14 Joker level drivers register, qualifiers will be run to determine the competitive grid.
If fewer than 14 Joker level members are registered, then Newt level members will run 1 (or more) qualifying race(s) to fill the grid.
The competitive race will be reviewed by stewards after the race. Once the stewards have completed their review, any necessary time penalties will be issued and the race will be certified. NOTE: Steward review will likely take a few days.
It is strongly advised that you join the PapasHouseOfGame discord server. This is the only place to submit incident tickets if you encounter a problem with another driver on track.
We will run at least 1 Exhibition race during the event, unless the number of registered drivers exceeds 28. Channel members will receive priority in the Exhibition races as well.
